I just had a major revelation today.

I have been studying with witch school for several years. I picked the school because it was the only school that was well structured with mentors and let you actually get your clergy status if you wanted. http://www.correllian.com/index.htm

I have to admit I have been doing it at such a slow pace because much of my free time has been taken up with paranormal studies. Also, I have been doing a lot of personal journaling and shamanic dream work. I have beendoing a lot of great growth on a spiritual level for the past several years.

This came to a halt last year when I got the flu. I also got encephalitis and since then I have had severe neuroglial effects and migraines to the point of not being able to drive, shop and barely to keep my job. It has made life a challenge because it has created interesting aura effects of light that make my physical observations of paranormal activity not usable - I can only use what I physically record. It has, however, seemed to make me a lot more sensitive and more of a conduit, though, so I can really pick up thoughts, so it is a mixed blessing. I can always go to the where the action is going to happen, which can be useful.

I came to the realization that I need to get my clergy status so I can do full blown clearings and blessings. I have reached the spiritual point in my life where the I need to merge them into a full time path. I need to help other people. Life is making it impossible for me to do the other things in life for a reason - it is a path that is wrong for me to be on. If I am to be healthy, I need to be on the other path.


MY guides frequently tell me that when I am stronger physically and I am farther along on my path with a clergy status along with legal liability protections afforded with the type of thing you can do with that I will be able to set up a practice that will allow me to do exorcisms.

I'm new to LJ and found you via area search. It sounds like we've taken similar paths that has lead us both to chronic illness. Hypersensitivity to our physical environment is indicative and perhaps equal to our sensitivity to "other" environments. Yes, this I'm sure you already know; I just wanted to remind you of this fact and share with you one of the many lessons I've learned from my illness. It is that of boundaries. Shielding myself from whom, when and how much information I take in. I have by no means mastered this art for it seems to require constant vigilance. Then again, maybe I'm just lazy. LOL! I'll cut this short even though I could write about this until your eyes glaze over. Blessings to you and yours. I'm waving goodbye to you from my BR Mountain home in WNC.

You are right about the constant boundries needed. I seem to lose them when I sleep, though, and take on stress and garbage during the night.

Sounds like you are on a path. One word of caution. And I mean this in kindness and compassion:

Getting a clergy status does not necessarily enable you to practice in a way that is beneficial to you or your clients. Get a really good foundation in the healing arts, and don't focus so much on what it is called.

Especially in the area of deposession. "Exorcism" is an old paradigm concept of working from a place of adversary, and is hurtful to both the practitioner and the suffering being needing release. When we work from an adversarial stance, we are working in a denser energy.

I truly hope you do well, but remember, it is vitally important to learn all you can, and to also cultivate a compassionate heart.

I agree completely. This is largely why I have not yet gone done any of this type of work. My health is not strong enough to handle the work.

I partly want to do the clergy status so I can incorporate and set up a a tax status and have some limited legal liability protections if I get involved in that type of work. This type of work can attract some clients that have issuses that related to the actual exorcisms or energy extractions and these are what make me more nervous than anything else, frankly.

I have had a difficult issue in the past with a client who really was not emotionally stable and and came unhinged when I would not take her on as a client. Going forward, I am always going to have a strict set of criteria for taking on something an energy extraction that would be critical.

I am glad to say the above person is now under psychiatric care as she should have been, but it was not a pleasant situation for a while. She did teach me clearly the lesson, though.

I can certainly relate to the boundary thing, and have had many contacts that said they wanted help, but really were in need of interventions other than the energetic.

The Universal Life Church is a 501 c (3) non-profit, and membership satisfies that status requirement in all 50 states. Might want to check them out..

Interesting. I will check out the links for sure. I do think my path does also lie along with helping their fears and learning to build their own protetions and doiing their own clearings. I do a lot of space clearing- so the exorcisms are going to come up a lot for me in the future work I am going to - in some manner or another.

Remember to begin to see the unseen in a non-adversarial way. Even when we do house clearings, we are mindful that the being or thoughtform is there for a reason, and so we want to help it along in a compassionate way by helping it go into the Light (or Void, whichever it prefers). It is not about casting out, but by helping its own evolution.

Exorcism is no longer in my vocabulary for that reason. Also remember that when you do engage adversarily, you will always lose, since you are digressing into a denser energy. Also remember that you are working with your helping spirits and ALWAYS check it out with them before entering into the work. If they say no, then don't do it, no matter what.

On a side note,

I agree very much with you that the unseen is not negative. People tend to see it through a mirror - if they view it with fear and dread in their own own eyes, they will see negative in the spirit.

My biggest goal has always been to try to get them to be comfortable with the spirit if it is a good spirit. I try to teach if it is a good spirit in life, such as your grandfather, it will be a good and loving spirit in death.

It is truly a gift to have a loved one spirit come and check on you. To be able to greet it and feel the love is such a joy. This is what I try to teach. You have to lose the fear and just feel the essence of the spirit that is with you.
