pendulum board/Rune Box

pendulum board
figured out what I need to do to start from scratch to make my own watercolor boards for pendulums. I am dyslexic so I have problems with getting the lines straight. I am going to get the basic boards/grids printed on 10 x 10 paper and then watercolor fairies, symbols, etc free hand. It will be quicker and put more of my heart and soul into the work. I can then scan it into the computer. I can also incorporate feathers, crystals, etc into some of them as well and photograph them. I can see the finished ones clearly in my mind, I just have to get the grids made up.

I might get some made onto wood and then glue the copper wire, crystals and feathers into some of the special boxes for high end – special request boxes – They would have to tell me what they wanted it for, and I would almost do like a crystal reading and choose the crystals for them.

I am exciting. I have been working all day and night on the designs. I am thinking of starting an on line shop carrying my homemade oils, baths, spell candles, etc. I also want to make some nice products like a pendulum board as well. Someday my plan is to make my own tarot cards - but my artistic skills are rusty.

I was looking through a shop, and I came across this description.  I really like the description, but I don't care as much for the design itself.  Now I will have to come up with my own design and concept for a tattoo design.  I am not necessarily going to get the tattoo, but I still feel driven to create.

Designed for Peaceful and Harmonious Relationships
The Unity symbol represents the sacred doorwary which opens when two souls embrace. Entering this doorway is always a challenge. We encounter different ideas, different values, and different likes and dislikes. It often feels as if we've entered a different world. The experience can be overwhelming. It can cause us to run back to the safe place of oneness, where we understand the world and feel safe. But often oneness is a lonely place where nothing grows and life may be predictable, but stagnet.

The Unity Symbol reminds us that one plus one always yields something greater, while one multiplid by itself will always remain the same. Entering the sacred doorway provides an opportunity for growth, acceptance and honoring one another in peace and in love. In your personal relationships, work relationships and your relationship to the world, the key is to practice Unity.

The two overlapping circles form the almond-shaped vesica piscis, in the center. The vesica piscis is often called "the womb of the Goddess", where creation takes place. Within the center in the triad, the three linked circles. The triad represents resolution to conflict; two opposites and a neutral for binding, balancing and a transforming presence.

I love this picture. I found it looking for a chalice.
I think this is why I was looking for the chalice to begin with.

Have I mentioned I am obsessive/compulsive?

I have until tomorrow morning to get the rest of the glue up before mom comes over to help. My hand is so cramped and tired that I am having trouble holding the chisel. This is a dangerous combination.

I am having a blast creating Holiday ornaments for SVPS. I have never really been fond of Chritmas in the past. .. ghosts of Christmas pasts haunt me and ruin the holiday...

Paranormal Tarot

I had a dream that I made a Paranormal Tarot deck. It was really cool. Too bad I am not an artist, so I think I am going to have to either collaborate or work with my own photographs. So, does anyone have any suggestions on what you would put in a paranormal tarot deck? This might be fun to create, but now I have research MORE on the tarot to actually try to make this happen.

I am really excited about this.
